New Delhi, Sep 10: A woman invited her ex-boyfriend for a sexual encounter and later killed him by slitting his throat after blindfolding him. The incident took place near the Advant Business Park in Noida on September 2. The victim was identified as Israfil. The accused woman, Saira, and his present boyfriend Rahim were arrested.

Rahim and Israfil, who were friends, met Saira on a Delhi-Katihar train four years ago and fell in love with her. The duo started began competing for her attention. Initially, Saira showed interest in Israfil, and their affair started. Saira began a new relationship with Rahim; however, she kept meeting Israfil secretly. But when, finally, she started trying to distance herself from Israfil, the love triangle turned ugly. Israfil had begun blackmailing her to keep her in a sexual relationship with him, Saira told the police. He allegedly had threatened Saira to reveal her sexual encounters with him to Rahim.

To get rid of Israfil, Saira called Rahim on August 31, and the two met at Green Park Metro station on September 2. They allegedly hatched a plot to kill Israfil. As per their plan, She called Israfil, who was an auto driver and asked him to meet her at Noida City Centre Metro station the same night. She had brought a knife before meeting him.

Saira sat in Israfil's autorickshaw, and the two headed towards Noida Expressway. Rahim was following them in another autorickshaw. She later asked Israfil to stop the vehicle in a dark, desolate stretch of a service lane near the Advant Business Park. She pulled him towards shrubs on the roadside and blindfolded him with her dupatta.

She then took out the knife and slit his throat. Rahim had got off his auto some distance away and walked to the spot. He then allegedly stabbed Israfil several times. When Israfil didn't return home, his wife approached the police. Cops recovered Israfil's body and found that two other cellphones were active at the crime spot on the night of September 2.

Police began a probe and managed to arrest Rahim from Katihar (Bihar), his hometown. Saira, who hails from Muzzafarnagar, was arrested from Dwarka where she used to work as domestic help in houses, reported Times of India.
