Noida, October 16: In a horrific incident that took place in Uttar Pradesh, a man allegedly stabbed a 30-year-old golgappa seller in Noida after he was asked to wait in queue. The shocking incident took place on the evening of Saturday, October 14, in Sector 49 of Noida when the victim, identified as Ravindra Kumar, was reportedly stabbed by his customer.

Golgappa Seller Asks Customer to Wait

Police officials said that the accused stabbed Kumar in the abdomen. According to a report in the Times of India, the incident took place after Kumar, who originally hails from Badaun, asked the customer to wait in queue in order to be served. Customer Abuses Golgappa Seller

The accused, identified as Vikas Sharma, barged in all of a sudden and asked Kumar to be served before others. "Ravindra declined, saying there were many customers waiting in line. Vikas got angry and hurled a flurry of abuses at him," the SHO added. Following this, Kumar protested and even requested Vikas not to abuse him in front of other customers.

Argument Leads to Customer Stabbing Golgappa Seller

This led to a heated argument when, all of a sudden, the accused removed a knife from his pocket and stabbed Kumar in the abdomen. Ravindra fell to the ground due to the stabbing. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. Later, Kumar's brother Harendra lodged a police complaint against Vikas, who has been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). "We are trying to trace the accused. We hope to arrest him soon," said Chaudhury.
