Noida, November 28: The horrific murder committed by a 17-year-old boy in which he killed his mother and sister with a pizza cutter, scissors and cricket bat is still fresh in everyone's mind. The boy had committed all the crime in a fit of rage and the boy was nabbed through the location of his phone when he called his father asking for help.
According to a Times of India report, the charges against the child could not be proved since the only witness, in this case, his father became hostile and produced medical records of the child's mental health. The accused was released on May 20 this year from the observation home in Phase II where he had remained since his detention. Police found the bat, scissors and pizza cutter, allegedly used for committing the crime at the residence in 2017. The boy was arrested by scanning the CCTV footages, but due to lack of evidence, he was let off in May this year. The father didn't testify against his son in this matter and therefore, the alleged culprit was freed of all the charges against him recently.
