The Court said that the historic Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world, so it should be kept in mind that no Namaz will be offered there. There are other places where one can do that. The Supreme Court's observation is expected to lead up to strong reactions both from social as well as political circles.

The Taj Mahal has been at the center of storm right since Yogi Adityanath took charge as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Earlier, former UP minister and Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan created controversy when he said that he would assist the UP Chief Minister in demolishing the Taj Mahal.
