Mumbai, December 19:  In one of the biggest news of Thursday, US President Donald Trump was impeached by the House of Representatives for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. His fate will be decided at the US Senate. After his impeachment, White House issued a statement saying, "US President Donald Trump is confident the Senate will restore regular order, fairness, and due process, all of which were ignored in the House proceedings. He is prepared for the next steps and confident that he will be fully exonerated."

In view of the protests taking place in several parts of Karnataka against Citizenship Amendment Act, the Karnataka Police on Thursday imposed Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) in capital Bengaluru and some other parts of the state.
