New Delhi: Fire Set Ablaze Plastic Factory in Narela Industrial Area, No Casualties Reported

A major fire broke out at a plastic factory in Narela industrial area in New Delhi, following which 22 fire engines were sent to douse the fire.

New Delhi, April 7: A major fire broke out at a plastic factory in Narela industrial area in New Delhi, following which 22 fire engines were sent to douse the fire. Till now no injuries had been reported, while the reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained.

According to the fire officers, they received a call about the fire at around 10:35 pm on Saturday, after which fire tenders were sent. With much difficulty, the fire was doused at 4 am in the morning. the officer said, "The blaze broke out in the basement, ground floor and first floor of the plastic factory in Narela and 26 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames." 3 Dead, 25 Injured, Crops Destroyed in Massive Fire in MP. 

it is to be known that this is second major fire after the February 19 incident in the same area. Earlier on February 19, a 28-year-old worker had died after a fire broke out at a shoe factory in Narela Industrial Area. Similarly, 17 people were killed in a blaze at a hotel in Karol Bagh on February 12.
