Amritsar, February 26: Cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu, who faced a backlash over his remarks on the Pulwama terror attack, on Tuesday posted a picture of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and tweeted her statement. "Our fight is not with Pakistan, our fight is with terror establishments," said Swaraj after Indian Air Force carried out air strikes in JeM terror camps in Pakistan. The External Affairs Minister's statement is similar to what Sidhu has said during the Pulwama terror attack. The Congress leader, earlier, said, "Can an entire nation be blamed for a handful of people?"
This statement of Sidhu had created a huge controversy as the opposition leaders demanded the sacking of Sidhu from the Congress for his "insensitive" comment on Pulwama Terror attack in which 40 CRPF Jawans were martyred. The 56-year-old leader today posted his old video and a Sushma Swaraj's statement captioning "Bhakts", asserting that Sushma said the same thing what he had said earlier. Meanwhile, Sidhu hailed the air strikes by the IAF on Jaish-e-Mohammed terror camp across LoC in Balakot early on Tuesday. “In the war of right and wrong, you cannot be neutral. The war against terror outfits is spot on... Bravo Indian Air Force, Jai Hind,” he said on Twitter.

Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh also welcomed the air strikes and said that he and Congress would support the government against terrorism. “They have killed 41, we should kill 82 of theirs. If Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan could not arrest the JeM chief who was operating from Pak soil, then we will do it for him, " he said.
