Navi Mumbai, June 4: High Alert has been put up in Navi Mumbai's Uran area after texts praising Islamic State were found scribbled on one of the pillars of a bridge on Tuesday. The texts on the Khopte Bridge's pillar in Raigad district praised IS terrorists and mentioned names of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and other terrorists, reported India Today. The inscriptions also mentioned the names of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni said Navi Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Kumar. The matter has been taken seriously and Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad has already started the probe.

"A separate team and Navi Mumbai crime branch are investigating the matter. There are very vital installations nearby the bridge and therefore this message cannot be ignored," a senior officer from Navi Mumbai police told to India Today.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), JNPT, Power Station, an armoury station etc are located near Uran. Cops also carried out a detailed inspection of the inscriptions. Teams of IB, NIA and Maharashtra ATS also visited the spot.
