New Delhi, January 11: The Naval Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas on Saturday became the first indigenous fighter jet to make a successful landing on the aircraft carrier - INS Vikramaditya. The test exercise was carried by Indian Navy officials under the watch of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) officials. The successful testing of LCA Tejas comes less than two months after the Navy tested a night-time variant of the combat aircraft in Goa. The aircraft had then succeeded in making a successful arrested landing.
