New Delhi, May 30: Narendra Modi is all set to take oath today as the Prime Minister of India for a second term after a landslide victory in 2019 Lok Sabha Elections. The swearing-in ceremony will be attended by 8,000 guests. The guest list includes foreign dignitaries, Chief Ministers of most of the states and few celebrities. For this big event, multi-layered security has been placed in Delhi, with the deployment of around 10,000 security personnel. Quick Response Teams (QRTs) will be deployed at crucial spots. Snipers were also deployed as Modi visited Rajghat, Sadaiv Atal Samadhi, National War Memorial before taking oath, a senior police official said. "Over 10,000 security personnel from Delhi Police and paramilitary forces have been deployed on account of the swearing-in-ceremony," the official said.

A traffic advisory has also been issued ahead of the function that several roads in Delhi will be closed for public movement between 4 pm to 9 pm and motorists and the public were requested to avoid them.
Among the guest list include heads of states from BIMSTEC nations, which includes Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand and Sri Lanka. Besides them, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic will also be attending the ceremony.
