Opposition party Congress party has asked Discovery channel to specify the timings of shooting its special episode of “Man Vs Wild” featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Bear Grylls. The special episode, featuring Modi and adventurer Bear Grylls was shot in India’s Jim Corbett National Park.
New Delhi, July 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon feature on the popular show 'Man Vs Wild' in an attempt to create awareness about environmental change and animal conservation. Post the news, Opposition party Congress has asked Discovery channel to specify the timings of shooting its special episode of “Man Vs Wild” featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to an ANI report, Congress spokesperson Manish Tewari said, "I think it is incumbent upon the Discovery Channel to really put it out in the public space that on that particular day, for how many hours and from what time to what time, did the shooting of this particular film took place."

Tewari highlighted that when Pulwama terror incident took place earlier this year, on that day Prime Minister Narendra Modi had addressed a public meeting at 5.15 pm, but never condemned the incident or paid obeisance to the martyrs or warn Pakistan.
The special episode, featuring Modi and adventurer Bear Grylls was shot in India’s Jim Corbett National Park. The episode will premiere on August 12 and will be showcased in more than 180 countries across the world on Discovery network of channels.
The announcement of the Prime Minister's episode was made on the occasion of International Tigers Day, which is celebrated each year on July 29. Post the video of this special episode was shared on social media, Bear Grylls thanked PM Modi for the adventure. "Sir, it was an honour to share an adventure with you! Let’s keep up our mission of spreading the positive message of conservation and protecting our planet," he said.
