New Delhi, February 16: Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy with other colleague ministers continued their protest outside Raj Nivas, Lieutenant governor Kiran Bedi's official residence. The 71-year-old Congress leader has been sleeping outside Bedi's residence since Wednesday when the protest started. The CM has alleged Bedi's “negative stand” towards the Congress government and alleged her for not permitting implementation of the state government's welfare schemes. Speaking to media, the chief minister said, “Even if it is not possible to immediately concede all the 39 pleas, the L-G can give her nod to some of the important schemes, including the free rice scheme and grants.”
Meanwhile, Bedi left for New Delhi and will return on February 20. Bedi is scheduled to meet Narayanasamy at 10 a.m. on February 21. CM Narayanasamy Dharna Against Kiran Bedi Enters Third Day, L-G Leaves For Delhi.
According to the CM, on February 18, letters will be sent to President Ram Nath Kovind and PM Narendra Modi condemning Bedi and on February 20, jail filling protest would be held. On February 21, a massive hunger protest would be held in Puducherry, he said.
"She (Bedi) is giving importance to functions organised by private bodies and not caring for the welfare of people," Narayanaswamy said speaking to IANS.
Earlier, the CM said, "She (Kiran Bedi) has no power at all, she has to only be a post office & sign papers which have been sent by the council of ministers, she has no right to touch cabinet decisions, she is vetoing decisions. She is being encouraged by PM to create problems for our govt.

Will local police act please?." She also posted a picture of Narayanaswamy and his Secretary outside Raj Nivas.
