After the tragic Amritsar train accident, a video shared on social media of Diva station shows passengers waiting on railway lines. Though it is not clear why the passengers are on track, the very act reminds one of the brutal accident that took place on 19th October, Friday. The locals had started protesting Saturday, raising slogans against the state government and demanding action against the train's driver, a day after the accident here. The Punjab Police has deployed its personnel, including commandos, to manage the crowd. The Rapid Action Force is also present in the Joda Patak area. Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, who visited the accident site Saturday, has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the incident.
