Mumbai, September 25: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is set to undertake essential repairs on a critical 1,450mm diameter main water channel, which is expected to impact water supply across several neighbourhoods in the G-North and G-South wards. Scheduled from 10:00 PM on September 26 to 5:00 PM on September 27, the maintenance work at Senapati Bapat Marg aims to ensure the reliability and safety of the city's water distribution system.

Residents in the vicinity will need to prepare for potential disruptions during this 19-hour period. The BMC emphasises the importance of these repairs to maintain the overall integrity of the water supply network. As the work progresses, the municipal body has called upon citizens to store adequate water in advance and use it sparingly. Mumbai Water Cut From September 26 to September 27: Know List of Affected Areas

From 10:00 PM on Thursday, September 26 to 5:00 PM on Friday, September 27, residents can expect a complete water supply cut in G-South areas including Currey Road, Sakharam Bala Pawar Marg, Mahadev Palav Marg, Lower Parel, Delisle Road, and BDD Chawl during the daily supply hours of 4:30 AM to 7:45 AM. In G-North, a 33 per cent reduction in water supply will be seen in areas such as Prabhadevi, Adarsh Nagar, P Balu Marg, Hatiskar Marg, Marathe Marg, Pandurang Budhkar Marg, Senapati Bapat Marg, NM Joshi Marg, and Ganpatrao Kadam Marg during the hours of 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Furthermore, sections of Senapati Bapat Marg, Veer Savarkar Marg, Gokhale Marg, Kakasaheb Gadgil Marg, Sayani Marg, and Bhawani Shankar Marg will also experience similar reductions.

As the BMC works to enhance water supply infrastructure, residents are advised to store adequate water in advance and use it sparingly during this crucial maintenance window.
