Mumbai Water Cut Alert: Parts of South Mumbai To Face Water Supply Cut on October 10, 11
The maximum city will be hit by water cut on October 10 and October 11 as the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is planning to carry out maintenance work to fix leakage of 1600 mm pipeline at Racecourse near Haji Ali.
Mumbai, October 7: The maximum city will be hit by water cut on October 10 and October 11 as the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is planning to carry out maintenance work to fix leakage of 1600 mm pipeline at Racecourse near Haji Ali. The repair work will start on Thursday around 9.30 and will be continued till 4 am on Friday. The municipal body has requested citizens to store enough water as the supply would be disrupted in the areas which come under D and E wards.
Areas in Mumbai Which Will be Affected by Water Cut
D Tukaram Javaji Road, Sane Guruji Marg, Tardeo Road, Ambedkar Nagar, Tulsiwadi Road, Mahalakshmi Railway Station, Mumbai Central, Sliter Road, Tardeo, Nair Hospital and JJ Hospital.
Last month, a similar water cut was imposed in the city to fix the leakage of 2400mm Upper Vaitarna water main in Santacruz (east). The 30-hour water-cut hit the Bandra railway terminus supply zone, Dharavi and Matunga Labour Camp area.
