Mumbai, July 6: In a major accident on Saturday in Jogeshwari area of Mumbai, one person died while five injured. The accident took place when a truck and a car collided on Jogeshwari flyover bridge opposite Trauma Care Hospital in Jogeshwari (East).
According to the police, the person has been identified as Badru Ansari, while the all five injured - Javed Ansari, Gajendra Gupta, Raju Vishwakarma, Dilip Gupta and Kaustubh Puri - have been admitted at the Trauma Care Hospital in Jogeshwari itself. It is to be known that since early morning, Mumbai is receiving moderate showers and due to this part of a tree fell on Mulund station's cover over the platform (COP). Due to this, tree branches were entangled with Pantograph of a DN slow local train and services were interrupted. Several other parts of Mumbai received rainfall.
