Mumbai: Stray Cattle Enters IIT Bombay Classroom As Shocked Lecturer and Students Looked On; Watch Video

Mumbai, July 28: In a bizarre incident, a cow recently entered the premises of Indian Institutes of Technology Bombay (IIT-B). Not only this, but the stray cattle also went inside a classroom where a lecture was going on. A video of the incident is going viral on social media, the clip is being widely shared on Facebook and Twitter. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the incident took place two days ago. A student from the premier institute said that no strict action is being taken despite the deadly attack of the bovine on a student earlier this month. Earlier, this month, a 21-year-old student of IIT-B was attacked by a cattle. The incident was also recorded in the CCTV. In the video, the student was seen getting hit by the bull when he was busy in mobile. The victim was initially taken to IIT hospital and later shifted to Sushrusha hospital with abdominal injuries.

After the incident, students raised safety concerns as cattle often strayed in academic as well as hostel building. Later, the institute administration and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) also removed some cattle after a meeting. However, without concrete action, the problem persists.
