Mumbai: Sion Circle Flyover To Remain Shut For 4 Months Beginning From December 1

The important route connects BKC, Dharavi with Navi Mumbai, Panvel, and Pune and will massively affect the traffic in the city.

Mumbai, November 14: Mumbai is a city that is forever a work-in-progress. The 'Maximum City' is home to millions and the ever growing demand on the city's infrastructure means that Mumbai's connectivity requires continues upgradation. But the never ending construction work also takes a toll on Mumbaikars who have to deal with the notorious Mumbai traffic.

A Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) official, talking to news portal Mumbai Live, confirmed the news that the Sion Circle flyover will be shut and out of operation for four months, beginning from December 1. 297 Trees to be Cut For Mumbai Metro 2B Line Along 4.4-km-long Road.

The important route connects BKC, Dharavi with Navi Mumbai, Panvel, and Pune and will massively affect the traffic in the city. Mumbai is already reeling under the construction of underground metro underway and the Sion Circle flyover shutting down for four months will further add to the chaos.
