Mumbai, December 24: In a shocking incident, a 40-year-old woman was arrested for kidnapping and murdering his daughter's married lover. According to a Times of India report, four other people helped her in the crime. The main accused Geeta Shettiyar has been arrested and police are on the lookout for the other culprits.

On December 20, when the victim Babu didn't return home, his family filed a missing report. The decomposed body of the man matching Babu's description was found in Shahapur. Babu was allegedly in a relationship with Geeta's daughter and she had asked him to keep a distance from her daughter. On the day of the incident, Geeta and the other four alleged accused took Babu in an auto-rickshaw, strangled him and dumped the body at a desolate place in Shahpur. The decomposed body has been sent for post-mortem and police are probing the matter to nab all the culprits in this case.

In another similar incident which happened a few days ago, a 20-year-old man was killed with stones and paver blocks for wearing headphones which he was waiting for his bus in Mulund.
