Mumbai, August 20: The police have received a complaint from a 53-year-old widow who claims that a masked burglar broke into her Borivali home in the early hours and that she feigned to have AIDS in order to protect herself from being assaulted. According to the woman, she vomited blood, which scared the invader and caused him to flee. The Borivali police have filed an FIR and are investigating the timeline of events.

The complainant works at an electronics store and lives alone, while her son and daughter-in-law reside abroad. The FIR claims that after allegedly being manhandled by the accused, the victim revealed to him that she had AIDS. To save myself from being assaulted, I had to lie.
