Mumbai, June 30: In a tragic incident on Friday evening in Mumbai, three minor boys allegedly assaulted and fatally stabbed a 17-year-old boy, Mohammed Hussain Khan, in Mulund (West) after he refused to give them gutkha. The altercation occurred between 5 pm and 5:30 pm, culminating in Khan's death.
Indian Express reported that Khan, accompanied by a 16-year-old friend, was approached by the three minors who demanded gutkha. When Khan refused, a heated argument ensued, escalating to violence. The minors allegedly beat Khan, and one of them stabbed him twice, inflicting fatal injuries to his chest and thighs. The assailants then fled the scene. The Mulund police swiftly traced the three minor suspects, all from Bhandup, and handed them over to the Dongri Children’s Remand Home. Further investigation into the case is ongoing.
In another news, a man was stabbed to death in Maharashtra's Nagpur over a dispute while smoking at a pan shop. The incident took place in the Mahalaxmi Nagar area of Nagpur when the accused, Jayashree Panjhade, along with her friend Savita Sayre was smoking outside a pan shop.
According to officials, Jayashree blew smoke from the cigarette onto the face of the youth, identified as Ranjit Rathode, leading to a heated argument between them.
The altercation soon turned into a huge fight after Ranjeet started recording a video of the argument where Jayashree can be heard abusing him and blowing smoke towards him.
Soon after, Jayashree called her friends Akash Raut and Yashwant Sayare. After arriving at the scene, Akash confronted Ranjit and later stabbed him to death.
