Mumbai, July 29: The Mumbai police recently arrested three men for allegedly killing their relative in Pydhonie. The alleged murder occurred on Saturday, July 27, when the accused, Yunus Shaikh (58), his son, Sohail Yunus Shaikh (26) and nephew, Aziz Jameel Shaikh (41), killed their relative, an elderly man, after a spat overturning on the light. The deceased has been identified as Salim Shaikh.

According to a report in the Hindustan Times, the accused were arrested after Shaikh's brother, Mohammad Idrish Shaik, lodged a complaint against his brother Yunus and two others. Police officials said that all of them stay together in the same house at the Azilala Building in the Pydhonie area. In his complaint, Sahikh said the incident occurred around 1 am when his deceased brother, Salim Shaikh, was sleeping in the hall. Amid this, Sohail suddenly turned on the light, which irked Shaikh, who started abusing him. Soon, the argument escalated to a point where Shaikh was about to hit Sohail, but the accused's cousins jumped in to resolve the argument.

Cops said that Shaikh started beating his nephews, which did not go well with his brother Yunus. He, along with Sohail and Aziz, started kicking and punching Shaikh, who faced difficulty breathing due to his asthma. Amid the fight, Shaikh sat and started looking for his inhaler.
