Mumbai, December 3: In a shocking incident that took place in Mumbai, a 15-year-old school student allegedly slashed his classmate with a knife in Kandivli. As per reports, the shocking incident took place on November 26 outside a school in Kandivli. The incident came to light after a video of the same went viral on social media.

According to reports, the class 10th student allegedly injured his classmate with a knife outside their school. Speaking to Mid-day, a police officer sad that the boy who was seriously injured underwent surgery after being admitted to Trident Hospital. The victim was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday. After the video of the incident came to light, the police registered a case against the accused under various sections of the Indian Penal Code. "The accused is absconding and we are searching for him. We have summoned his parents," a police officer said.

During investigation, police found that the accused and victim are students of two different divisions of a school in Kandivli West. Cops said that a few days before the incident took place, the two had a fight over a small issue. In the video that has gone viral, locals and students can be seen watching the fight between the accused and the victim. Reportedly, the accused attacked the victim with a knife when he was sitting on a scooter. After injuring the victim, the accused fled from the spot with some students.
