Mumbai, July 24: Heavy rains started pouring in the city on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, causing heavy water-logging in several parts of the city. Due to the heavy downpour and poor visibility, flights to and from Mumbai are delayed. Both Vistara and IndiGo have alerted their passengers to check the status of their flights before they leave home and to expect delays.

According to the private weather agency, Skymet Weather, the rain intensity would decrease over Colaba, Navi Mumbai, Panvel and Thane during next 2-3 hours. Meanwhile, a good spell will be witnessed over Santacruz, Bhiwandi, Vasai and Mira Bhayander during next 1-2 hours.
