Mumbai Rains: Two Killed in Separate Tree-Falling Incidents in Malad and Jogeshwari

In a yet another incident, a 38-year-old person died after a branch of the tree collapsed on two people near Vijayakar Wadi at SV Road in Mumbai's Malad. Another person sustained injuries.

Mumbai, June 14: In a yet another incident, a 38-year-old person died after a branch of the tree collapsed on two people near Vijayakar Wadi at SV Road in Mumbai's Malad. Another person sustained injuries. After the mishap, the deceased, Shailesh Mohanlal Rathod, was rushed to a private hospital, where he was declared brought dead. According to reports, the incident took place at around 6:30 am on Friday. In a separate incident, a person died after a tree fell on him in Jogeshwari. Mumbai witnessed extreme winds and some showers of rain in the last two days due to very severe cyclone 'Vayu'.
