Three people injured after part of a wall collapsed in Meenatai Flower market in Dadar due to rains in Mumbai. Injured have been admitted to KEM hospital.

Several cars got stuck on a waterlogged road near Mogra Nala in Mumbai. Sharing a video of the incident, the BMC urged citizens not to drive into waterlogged roads.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) issued a statement saying their officials are doing everything to clear waterlogged roads. "Hello, Mumbai! The island city and suburbs have received 33 mm and 95 mm rainfall respectively. While we're on our toes, it may take some time to pump out all water from waterlogged areas owing to neap tide. Hopefully, all should be well by late evening," read a tweet by BMC.

Interior parts of Mumbai such as Mulund, Dadar, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Bhandup, and parts of Thane, Palghar and Navi Mumbai witnessed heavy rains on Friday. Virar, Borivali and Badlapur have been receiving rainfall since last night. According to the weather forecast, Mumbai, Thane and adjoining areas are likely to receive heavy downpour later in the day. Mumbai may receive over 200mm rainfall in the next 48 hours.
Three people were killed when pre-Monsoon showers combined with strong winds hit Mumbai earlier this month. 48-year-old Anil Ghosalkar was critically injured when a tree collapsed at Takshashila Cooperative Housing Society in suburban Jogeshwari. He later succumbed to his injuries at Holy Spirit Hospital.
Shailesh Mohanlal Rathod, 38, was declared brought dead at Shatabdi Hospital after a tree branch fell on him near Vijaykar Wadi on SV Road in Mumbai's Malad. Similarly, 43-year-old Nitin Shirvalkar died after a tree branch fell on him in Govandi.
