Heavy rains have been lashing out in Vasai and Virar. Waterlogging has been reported in Evershine City, Vasant Nagri, and some areas of Ambadi road in the city.

Mumbai Police, in a tweet, informed that traffic on Western Express Highway is affected due to waterlogging at Film city Junction following intermittent rain in Mumbai. Waterlogging has also been reported near Powai Garden and Malad Crematorium.
Authorities have closed the Andheri subway due to waterlogging following heavy rains in Mumbai. Traffic has been diverted via Gokhale bridge and Thackeray bridge, said Mumbai Police.
According to private weather forecast agency, Skymet, heavy rains will continue in Mumbai, Thane and Palghar districts of Maharashtra till Tuesday morning.

According to the Met department forecast, Mumbai is likely to witness heavy to very heavy rains till July 5. Thane and Palghar districts of Maharashtra may see extremely heavy rainfall till July 5.

Local train services in Mumbai were largely affected and were running 30 mins late from their schedule time. Central Railways cancelled some passenger trains, particularly ones running between Mumbai and Pune.
According to Skymet, a private weather forecasting agency, Mumbai Rains have been very intense since last night. In the past 6 hours, between 11.30 pm last night to 5.30 am today, Mumbai has seen 63 mm of rain. Traffic in several routes diverted due to water logging.
In the wake of heavy rainfall, waterlogging and flooding was reported from areas like Dadar, Wadala, Worli, Kurla, Chembur, Bandra, Andheri, Kandivili, Vikhroli, Kanjurmarg and Bhandup, among others.
