Mumbai, December 6: Two women passengers commuting in a local train in Mumbai had a narrow escape after they jumped off a running train on Wednesday. According to a 20-second video released by ANI, the incident took place at Dadar Station on the Western Line. In the video, the two women passengers were seen getting down while the train was speedily chugging through the platform. A close look at the video shows that both the women stepped out of the train from different doors of the ladies compartment. They were rescued by the Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel from being run over by a train at Dadar Railway Station on Western Railway. Earlier this week, a Western Railways gangman was struck by a Bandra-bound local while saving a man who was crossing the tracks near Andheri. According to a report by Mumbai Mirror, the gangman suffered multiple fractures in the incident. The report informs that the man, identified as Chandrakant Madre, 54, has been badly injured.
