Mumbai: Minor Who Accused DIG Rank Officer of Molestation Goes Missing, Leaves Suicide Note at Home
A First Information Report was registered against DIG Nishikant More days after the girl's family along with others protested demanding an FIR be registered against the senior cop.
Mumbai, January 8: In the latest development to the case where a Deputy Inspector General (DIG) rank officer was booked in December for allegedly molesting and stalking a minor from Taloja, the girl has reportedly gone missing. She has also written a suicide note addressing to her parents and brother where she has said that she wants to end her life due to the pressure from the DIG. She apologised to them for the humiliation which the family is facing because of her and below the note has mentioned DIG solely responsible for ending her life. Soon after the family got the suicide note, they tried to search for the girl, but their attempt failed. Following which, they went and registered a complaint at the Taloja police station.

In June, the officer and his wife came to attend the birthday celebration of the girl. During the party, according to the family, the DIG touched her cheeks and chest. More's alleged misconduct was also caught in a camera.
Following this incident, the girl was "very disturbed and depressed'. DIG More went missing ever since an FIR was filed against him. Police are still searching for More.
