Mumbai: Massive Fire Breaks Out in Mazgaon Restaurant, No Casualties Reported

A massive fire broke out in a hotel in Mazgaon area of Mumbai city during the late night on Wednesday.

Mumbai, December 20: A massive fire broke out in a hotel in Mazgaon area of Mumbai city during the late night on Wednesday. According to a tweet by ANI, Five fire tenders were pressed into action to put out the fire. No casualties have been reported so far. Earlier on Wednesday, a level 2 fire broke out in Mumbai's Trident hotel at Nariman Point. Six fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Fire Breaks Out at Trident Hotel in Mumbai's Nariman Point.

On December 19, another fire erupted in the government-run Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Kamgar Hospital in Andheri. According to officials, the fire brigade rushed four fire engines to douse the fire. Earlier in a massive fire at ESIC Kamgar hospital, eight people lost their lives including a six-month-old girl. In the tragic incident, 176 people including three firemen were treated at different hospitals in the city. According to the fire department officials, ESIC hospital did not obtain the final Non-Objection Certificate (NOC). Meanwhile, the actual cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
