Mumbai Man Killed by 8 People During His Birthday Celebration in Ghatkopar, Police Suspect Role of Friends

A 27-year-old man was killed by almost seven to eight people during his birthday celebration on Sunday night in Ghatkopar. The deceased's friends reportedly attacked him with a sharp weapon and fled the spot. The victim was admitted to Rajawadi Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Mumbai, July 29: In a shocking incident, a 27-year-old man was killed by almost seven to eight people during his birthday celebration on Sunday night in Ghatkopar. The deceased's friends reportedly attacked him with a sharp weapon and fled the spot.  Mumbai Man Stabs Wife Over Having Extra-Marital Affair With Brother-in-Law, Kills Sister.

According to an ANI tweet, Pratap Bhosle, Police inspector said, "Prima facie, the deceased had an altercation with some people 4 to 5 days ago, and he was killed in connection with that". The victim was taken to Rajawadi Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police have registered a case of murder against the culprits and probe is on to nab the accused at the earliest.

In another case of crime that took place last week, a man stabbed his wife and then accidentally killed his sister. According to a Times of India report, the accused Nagash Lad, 26-year-old auto driver attacked his wife with a knife after she learnt that she is still in an extra-marital relationship with his brother-in-law, despite warning her.
