Mumbai, July 12: In a shocking incident, a man allegedly committed suicide by jumping off from Bandra-Worli Sea link in Mumbai on Friday. Though exact details are have not appeared as to how this incident happened, police are yet to confirm the identity. The rescue operation is underway.

According to sources, the person is speculated to be 25-year-old Parth Soman, who hired a taxi to go towards Bandra. Soman allegedly works in a CA firm in Central Mumbai. The reason for the person committing suicide is still to be ascertained, police are investigating the matter. As per the initial reports, the incident took place at around 2:40 pm in the iconic Bandra-Worli Sea link, near the poll number 52 and 54.
