Mumbai, October 22: The Mumbai police recently booked a 30-year-old woman and nearly five of her family members for suicide abutment after her 37-year-old husband allegedly died by suicide. The alleged incident occurred on October 13. However, before ending his life, the deceased man, a resident of Kandivali East, reportedly recorded a video on his phone and said that he was taking extreme steps as he was being harassed by his wife and her relatives.

In the video, the man also claimed that his wife's relatives had assaulted him when he tried to meet his four-year-old son at his in-laws' home. The woman and her relatives were booked after the deceased’s brother found the video on his mobile phone and alerted the police. Acting on the complaint, the police booked the deceased man's wife and five of her family members. Man Assaulted in Pune, Denied to Meer His Son
In his complaint with Samata Nagar police, the deceased's brother told cops that his late brother and his wife had had a fight in August. After the fight, the complainant's sister-in-law took away their son and went to stay at her parent’s home in Pune. A day before ending his life, the deceased went to his in-laws’ home to meet his son; however, his wife allegedly did not allow him to meet. It is learned that the woman and her relatives allegedly assaulted the deceased man. Following the incident, the deceased man shot a video in which he blamed his wife and her family members for allegedly harassing him and forcing him to take his life.
