Mumbai Man Allegedly Sets Fire to Girlfriend's House After Her Mother Refuses Their Alliance, Arrested

Mumbai, January 1: In a shocking incident, a 30-year-old resident in Ulhasnagar allegedly tried to set his girlfriend's house on fire after her mother objected to their relationship. According to a Times of India report, the mother of the girl opposed to their alliance because the man was unemployed.

On Monday, the accused asked the daughter's hand for marriage and when he was refused, he threatened to put their house on fire. He lit a matchstick and threw it on a pile of clothes.
