Mumbai, July 4: A Hospital in Mumbai's Parel fulfilled a wish of an eight-year-old girl of becoming a doctor as a part of ongoing Doctors Day celebration. Global Hospital in association with Make a Wish Foundation fulfilled the wish of Samruddhi Gaikar and made her doctor for three hours. The minor was brought to the Global Hospital, where she was received by a team of doctors and was taken for a facility tour. She also attended some patients, reported Times of India. Make a Wish Foundation, an NGO creates life-changing wishes for kids with a critical illness who has reached the age of 2 1/2 and is younger than 18, to fulfil their dream.
“Fulfilling someone’s dream is the truest sense of happiness. Every child at the foundation is a kid who has a story of his own. Kids who are supposed to be studying and playing happily are unfortunately diagnosed with various kinds of life," said a spokesperson of the foundation to Times of India.
