Mumbai, Sept 22: Train services on all three lines of Mumbai locals - Western, Central and Harbour - will ply as per routine schedule as the Railway has announced no mega block this Sunday, September 23. The restrictions have not been put in place to avoid inconvenience to devotees who would be commuting across the city for Ganpati visarjan (immersion).
The Central and Harbour lines usually suspend services for nearly six hours on Sunday for repair and maintenance, whereas, the Western Railway imposes jumbo block lasting for more hours. Considering the rush of commuters tomorrow - the 11th and final day of Ganeshotsav 2018 - the Railway decided not to impose a mega block.
