Mumbai Local Trains Update: Harbour Line Delayed, Commuters Hit During Rush Hours

Mumbai, April 24: The morning hours in India's financial capital is one of the busiest and helping the working class to reach their offices are the local trains. However, Wednesday was not that good day for the commuters as the trains in Harbour line were plying late. With overcrowded trains from Panvel and Vashi, people were seen stranded on the platforms for a train to board and expressed their anger on social media, complaining of getting late for office. After two hours of efforts, the local trains have finally started plying on the route from 8.10 am, but the direct services between Navi Mumbai and CSMT were suspended from around 6.10 am.
