Due to technical failure near Mahim railway station, all train from Churchgate to Virar and Virar to Churchgate trains will be running late today by about 15-20 minutes. According to the latest information, the technical fault has been corrected but it will take some time to bring traffic to normal. According to reports, there was a technical breakdown near Mahim Railway station today morning. Due to this, traffic hit on both sides. Local train on UP and DOWN routes are running late by 15 to 20 minutes. Some reports state that technical failure has also affected long-distance trains.

Meanwhile, the cabinet committee on Economic affair chaired by PM Narendra Modi has approved Mumbai Urban Transport Phase-IIIA. With the approval, the suburban transportation will get a boost. The estimated cost of the entire project is Rs 33,690. Under the Phase-IIIA, AC coaches will be introduced, some stations will be redeveloped and many others.
