Mumbai, October 31: The Western Railway (WR) has made key changes in its new timetable which will come into effect from Thursday, November 1. The WR has introduced 10 services, extended 122 services and reduced the time of 26 local trains. According to the WR, the air-conditioned locals have been given additional stops at Nalasopara, Naigaon, Mira Road, Dahisar, Grant Road, Charni Road and Marine Lines stations for improving the occupancy and convenience of people.

With the new time-table in place, the total train services on the suburban section will be increased from 1,355 to 1,365. Also, six new services will be added in the up direction, two fast suburban services from Virar to Churchgate, two slow services are from Dahanu Road to Virar, and two slow suburban services are from Virar to Borivali and from Bhayander to Andheri Station. IRCTC to go? Similarly, in the down direction, four new services will be added, two fast trains from Churchgate to Virar, one fast suburban service from Churchgate to Dahanu Road and one slow service from Virar to Dahanu Road. A total of 122 suburban services have been extended which includes 56 services in Up direction and 66 services in down direction.

Dahanu Road- Churchgate local (Train N0. 93026) which departs from Dahanu Road at 5:35 pm, will now leave at 5:50 pm. Train No 93038 Dahanu Road-Churchgate local which departs at 6:55 pm will now depart at 7:10 pm.

The Western Railways has also extended the halt of some ladies special train. Churchgate- Bhayandar ladies special local, which leaves at 6:51 pm from Churchgate, is extended to Virar. In the up direction, the ladies special which departs from Bhayander will now depart from Virar at 08:44 am. Similarly, ladies special from Vasai which departs at 9:56 am, will now originate from Virar and depart at 9:47 am.
