Mumbai Horror: Newly-Wed Woman Kidnapped, Confined For 2 Weeks And Raped Multiple Times in Malad

In a shocking case reported from Maharashtra, a 21-year-old woman was allegedly abducted by a mob of five people and raped multiple times.

Mumbai, February 28: In a shocking case reported from Maharashtra's Mumbai, a 21-year-old woman was allegedly abducted by a mob of five people and raped multiple times. What's more shocking is that the group of five people included a woman. According to the Indian Express, the heinous incident took place on February 6, when a man impersonating as the policeman came to the victim's house and informed her that her husband has been arrested. Nashik: 73-Year-Old Sentenced to 4 Years Jail for Abusing Minor Girl.

The woman, who recently got married,  worried about her husband and followed the man. The man took her to Malad, a suburb in North Mumbai, where other accused joined him. The accused then took the woman to an under-construction building. Speaking to Indian Express, the police officials said that the woman somehow managed to escape on February 18 and approached cops and narrated the whole ordeal. Based on the woman's complaint, the police has lodged a first information report (FIR), but haven't made any arrests. The police officials are currently scanning the CCTV footages and working with sketch artists to identify the accused.
