Mumbai, September 25: Syed Nasser Hussain, owner of a plumbing material store in Deonar, proved to be a hero after he saved a teenage girl from killing herself twice in the same night, reported Mumbai Mirror. Hussain has also saved two other women from jumping off the Vashi bridge in the past. Mumbai Metro 3 Completes First Underground Tunnel Project, Devendra Fadnavis Calls It 'Breakthrough'.

Hussain was going home after shutting his shop when he noticed a girl walking barefoot on the bridge. Remembering the previous occurrences in which both the girls he saved were barefoot, Hussain couldn't ignore it and suddenly stopped his bike and saved the girl from jumping off the Vashi bridge.

After saving her, he counselled the girl and tried to know the motive behind the drastic step. The reason turned out to be a case of a broken heart. He then took the girl home to find out that her parents were away. The neighbour had the keys to the girl’s house. After the girl let herself in, Husain left.

While going back home Hussain felt that it was not a right decision to leave the girl alone. He turned his bike and went back to find that he was right.

When he knocked on the door he found out that the girl had locked herself in. With the help of neighbours, he broke the door and saw the girl hanging from the ceiling fan. After artificial respiration, the girl was rushed to Shatabdi hospital and from there to Sion Hospital. The girl is out of danger and in stable condition now.

The girl's father was grateful to Hussain. Talking to Mumbai Mirror, he said, "Had he not been there, I would have lost my daughter. He saved her twice I can’t thank him enough.”
