A new FOB is likely to be installed in the upcoming days. The bridge is necessitated for locals and on-foot commuters as crossing the road is not possible due to the quick-movement of vehicles at the Sion-Panvel highway.
The incident could have caused further damage had the bridge falled on a weekday, as the traffic movement is exponentially higher as compared to Sundays.
