Mumbai, October 24: A moving car caught fire in Mumbai on Wednesday afternoon. According to a tweet by ANI, the car caught fire near Chakala Metro station in Andheri. Reports inform that the blaze has been doused now. No injuries were reported in the incident. The cause of the fire is not known yet. However, an investigation into the matter is currently underway.
Earlier in August, a massive fire broke out on the 12th floor of a posh high-rise residential building in Dadar in which four people were killed and nearly 16 were injured. Reports inform that dozens of people were rescued from different floors of the 17-storey Crystal Tower building near Hindmata Cinema. According to a PTI report, at least 20 people suffered from suffocation due to the smoke and were rushed to the nearby KEM Hospital. Out of the 20 injured, four of them, including a woman, were declared brought dead, the city civic body said in a statement.
