Mumbai, November 27: A fire has erupted near Bandra railway station in Mumbai. Pictures and videos from the spot showed thick black smoke billowing from some structures at Shastri Nagar in Bandra west.
According to the Mumbai Fire Brigade, the fire was classified as level II on the fire department's five-level assessment system. Around eight firefighting vehicles were dispatched to the location.

Last month, a massive fire broke out at a slum in suburban Bandra. No loss of life was reported, and eight water tankers, nine fire engines as well as ten fire tenders doused the blaze.
