Mumbai, April 29: A fire broke out at a shop in Mumbai's Mahim area on Monday. At least three fire tenders were at the spot and efforts were underway to douse the raging fire. The cause of the blaze was not immediately known. There were no reports about injuries to anyone or casualties. This is second fire incident in Mumbai today.
Earlier, a major fire erupted at an outlet of Big Bazaar in Matunga area. The fire brigade classified the blaze at level-II. An eyewitness said some people were taken in ambulances. However, there is no official confirmation. The exact cause of the blaze remained unknown by evening.
On April 22, a major fire was reported at Crawford Market in south Mumbai. The fire broke out at Super shopping market on Abdul Rahman street behind Jumma Masjid.
