Mumbai, May 5: In a tragic incident, two people were injured and rushed to a hospital in Mumbai after a fire broke out in a building Mazil Masjid Chowk in Andheri area on Sunday. According to a tweet by ANI, the blaze took place on the 4th floor of Sarita Building at Mazil Masjid Chowk in Andheri's Yari Road area. Reports inform that the fire took place following a cylinder blast. Fire Breaks Out at Residential Building in Navi Mumbai's Airoli.

As soon as the incident was reported, police rushed to the spot. The injured person has been rushed to the hospital. Reports inform that as many as five fire tenders are present at spot. Police is also present at the spot.  More details awaited.

On May 3, three passengers travelling in a BEST bus had a narrow escape after the bus was engulfed in fire near Gokuldham market bus stop in Goregaon area of Mumbai. Reports inform that the incident took place when the bus was ferrying passengers on route number 646 from Goregaon Station East to Nagri Niwara Prakalp No.1 & 2.

In April, a massive fire broke out in a Big Bazaar outlet in Mumbai's Matunga West area. People inside the store at the time of the fire managed to rush out to safety. No casualties were reported.
