According to an ANI tweet, it was found that he is a serial offender and has several cases of molestation and public nuisance registered against him.

The incident occurred late at night near Chincholi bunder bus stop on New Link Road when the 30-year-old was returning home from work. When the incident took place, the victim tried to take a photo of the man involved in the act. However, the man fled from the spot. Soon the woman called up her mother and a police complaint was filed. Based on the description given by the woman and several CCTV footages were scanned, the culprit was finally tracked down from Malad.

A similar incident took place on July 31, when a user tweeted sharing the ordeal which his friend suffered. The user shared that a rickshaw driver was masturbating while looking at his friend in the rearview mirror. Incidents like these are on the rise, thus making it extremely dangerous and unsafe for women to commute at odd hours.
