Mumbai, July 14: Three people were found murdered in a scrap godown in Navi Mumbai's Turbhe MIDC area on Saturday morning. The victims identified as Naushad Khan (19), Irshad Khan (19) and Rajesh Pal (30). On being informed, police officials reached the spot and launched an investigation into the matter, reported mid-day. Mumbai: Bodies of Mother, Son Found at Their Residence in Mira Road.
According to preliminary investigations, the case suspects someone with a motive of robbery, who murdered three labourers while they were sleeping in the godown. The victim's body were heavily wounded with several cut marks. A hammer and sickle were also found near the bodies. Cash worth Rs two lakh has been missing from the godown account. "It seems like the accused was aware of the daily transaction and the cash the victims had in the godown. We are going through the CCTV footage of every angle to find the accused," said DCP Ashok Dudhe to mid-day. Meanwhile, the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
