New Delhi, July 21: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said that the cabinet has approved "Mukhya Mantri Ghar Ghar Ration Yojana (Chief Minister's Doorstep delivery of ration scheme)" to initiate home delivery of ration. He said that the doorstep delivery will begin in 6-7 months.  'One Nation, One Ration Card' Scheme Launched.

"There have been a lot of complaints about acquiring ration. Since we came to power we have improved the situation. Today we launched Mukhya Mantri Ghar Ghar Ration Yojana," Kejriwal said. Narendra Modi Govt Aims 'One Nation One Ration Card' Scheme to Cover All States by March 31 Next Year.

"No need for people in Delhi to come to the ration shops anymore, instead ration will be delivered to their doorsteps," the chief minister said, adding that Centre's "one nation, one ration card" scheme will be implemented along with home delivery of ration across the national capital.

Calling the scheme "nothing short of revolutionary", Aam Aadmi Party supremo said that after the scheme is implemented there is no need for people in Delhi to come to ration shops. "For years, our dream was that the poor should get ration with respect, today that dream is fulfilled," Kejriwal said.
