Guna, August 2: A five-year-old boy from Guna district, Madhya Pradesh, suffered severe burns after his stepmother, Razia Bano, allegedly used a hot spatula to punish him for bedwetting. The incident occurred early Wednesday morning when the boy urinated on the bed in his sleep.

According to the child's grandmother, the boy’s stepmother reacted violently at around 6 AM, assaulting him and inflicting burns with a hot spatula on his hips, wrists, private parts, and chin. TOI reported that the child's father and grandmother intervened and rushed him to a government hospital in Binaganj for treatment. 

Local police have confirmed that the boy sustained multiple burn injuries and have registered an FIR against Razia Bano following the grandmother’s complaint. In another news from MP’s Rewa, a 9-year-old girl was raped and murdered by her 13-year-old brother after watching a pornographic video on mobile phone. To solve the case, the police had interrogated 50 people and performed intense questioning of the accused persons on the basis of technical evidence. The police said that after the intense interrogation of the family members, it came to light that the victim's 13-year-old brother had slept beside her at night. He then raped her after watching obscene videos on the mobile phone.
